Venous Duplex 

We will perform a detailed scan of the veins in the arms
or legs
Common examples for having this ultrasound scan are:​

  • leg pain

  • swelling

  • shortness of breath

  • Evaluate for the presence or absence of a blood clot (thrombus) in the veins of the leg or arm.

  • Monitor known DVT.

  • We will provide a Radiologist report within 24 hours. 

     

Pre-scan preparation
Eat and drink as you normally would the day of the test.
Maintain normal medication.
